The Best Polish Communication Platform Contactis NaviVoice by WIND TELECOM S.A. Bielsko-Biala



Contactis® NaviVoice®, communications platform developed by Wind Telecom S.A. is compliant with VoiceXML standard and enables development of telephony (communications) applications. Contactis® NaviVoice® enables to develop interactive voice response systems (IVR), which are currently the most popular tool for communication between a customer and both small and big companies. Such service allows to access needed information automatically via telephone, whereas its content is fixed or created dynamically depending on application’s logic. Typical information service can present company offer, current promotions or pricelist of products. The calling customer can check amount of his or her debt or check purchase history.

The most common teleservices are navigated by means of the telephone keypad (so called DTMF codes), and presented information has to be recorded in advance. Apart from building such services, Contactis® NaviVoice® enables to develop much modern teleservices which use text-to-speech technology for information presentation, and can be navigated not only by means of DTMF codes, but also using voice commands through application of automatic speech recognition technology (ASR).

Through application of both technologies dialog between user and system is considerably shorter and becomes more natural. Contactis® NaviVoice® modern architecture enables development of IVR systems which take advantage of all abovementioned methods and technologies.

Contactis® NaviVoice® platform assures communication through many different communication channels – mainly via telephone, but also by means of web pages, SMS, MMS or WAP, which are handled through applications developed by Wind Telecom. The example of such solution is e-Mail reading service available for subscribers of Plus GSM network operator – Polkomtel S.A. The service is based on Contactis® PimVox®, application also developed by Wind Telecom S.A. and completely integrated with Contactis® NaviVoice®. Furthermore, IVR systems and applications based on Contactis® NaviVoice® platform have been deployed by Wind Telecom S.A. in such companies and institutions as: Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (Era GSM network operator), ORLEN Petroprofit, Beskidzka Energetyka S.A., Polskie Towarzystwo Finansowe S.A. and Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne DOM.
